Micro Rear Transition Test Module for MicroTCA
Virtex5 based testmodule for the µRTM interface
The DRTM-00 development is motivated as a possibility to emulate the behaviours of different types of task oriented uRTM modules and can test the interface between uRTM and MTCA.4 compatible Front AMC Boards from different vendors.

All signals of the µRTM interface are connected to theFPGA (Xilinx, Virtex-5, XC5VLX30T-1FF665C) and to pin-headers – for easy monitoring. The Mezzanine board connectors allow to set 2ADC-2DAC Mezzanine Board. The signals to/from Mezzanine board are connected to FPGA and can be retransmitted to the front board – DAMC2.
The DRTM-00 module was used to emulate the Beam Loss Monitor system.
